When identifying your tire size, there are two easy places to look. The first is the sidewall of the tire itself, where you’ll find a series of numbers and letters molded into the rubber — for example, something like “P215/65R15.”
The second place to check is the sticker located on the inside of your driver’s side door jamb. This label, typically white or yellow, is placed there by the vehicle manufacturer and lists the recommended tire size for your specific make and model, along with the recommended tire pressure. While both sources will usually match, the door jamb sticker reflects the manufacturer’s original specification, making it a reliable reference.
